Christian Ministries
PURPOSE STATEMENT
The purpose of the Christian Ministries Department is to produce Christ-centered leaders with the knowledge, values, and skills required to fulfill the Great Commission. The major in Christian ministries is designed to provide both a cognitive and effective biblically-based foundation with spiritual enrichment for effective ministry.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
Students will:
- Acquire knowledge of biblical content, develop the ability to interpret, and apply biblical principles.
- Gain an understanding of the doctrines of the Bible and be able to defend them.
- Develop leadership skills for the specific ministry for which the student is preparing
- Learn to integrate appropriate technologies and resources for effective ministry
- Be prepared for a ministry position or enter other institutions for graduate work.
